Harkening back to the pure rock & roll music of past albums like Bloom, Worldwide rocks its way through eleven tracks of fun-sounding, enjoyable pop music. It's a call to action, a jump-to-your-feet rollicking good time mixed with a go-and-tell-the-world message.
The album opens with blistering "Worldwide" and "Church Punks," setting the stage by letting the listener know that the guys are going old-school this time. The first radio single, "Dirty," is a direct descendent of the aforementioned "Hands and Feet," offering another clap & sing-a-long anthem for youth groups sounding the call to missions. "Go and Be" acknowledges that God may not have missions trips in foreign countries in mind for everyone, but everyone can still be a missionary wherever they are. Tyler Burkum takes the microphone for "Pierced," one of the album's finest tracks. It's a big-sounding ballad, complete with gospel choir, about how those used by God are often severely broken. "Strong" offers hope and encouragement to those very broken souls, while "Leaving Ninety-Nine" tells the wonderful story of the great lengths God will go to to save the lost.
