I'm Not Leaving is a patchwork quilt of various pieces of Derrick Harris' life -- confessions, observations, admonissions -- woven together into a southern rock-a-billy ride. He pushes, he pulls, he wrestles, and he praises (sometimes all within the same song), but most of all, he never settles. The sound instantly conjures memories of Big Tent Revival, thanks to Harris' southern rock roots and his own lilting vocals, which are reminiscent of Big Tent's Steve Wiggins.

Armed with more topics to speak upon than the best "product"-based music out there could ever hope for, all of which is flavored with his relentless, poetic honesty, Derrick Harris is the cure for everything that ails Christian Music.
