The Other Side Of Something delivers something treasured and something new. On Sara’s latest she continues to deliver the thought provoking moments you expect while exposing you to a decidedly more upbeat approach. The musical cornerstone of this album remains Sara’s lyrical voice surrounded by up tempo acoustic/pop alchemy that provides the perfect musical punctuation. Sara reconnects with longtime producer Nate Sabin and stretches her musical wings with the addition of award-winning producer Charlie Peacock.

In the span of three albums Sara Groves has established herself as, arguably, the top singer/songwriter in Christian music. If not the best she is clearly among them. The Other Side of Something shows that no matter which side of her life Groves is writing about she will tell the story with poetry, poignancy, and excellence. I can't get enough of this album. It probably will not hit #1 on the sales charts or go gold (though one can always hope), which only goes to show you that popularity is no real indicator of actual quality.
