Enter The Worship Circle continues the development of unusual music that blends spiritual conversations and modern sound. After three albums had been released from the new Enter The Worship Circle label since 1999, this new album entitled "Chair and Microphone, Vol. 1" is a brand new series of music under the same creative direction of writer/producer/performer Ben Pasley. Enter The Worship Circle is known for its record-setting sales in the independent worship music catalogs, and has set the pace for a whole new style of "tribal worship" with hit singles like "I Will Not Forget You" and "You Are So Good To Me".
While it's predecessors were simply named "First Circle", "Second Circle", etc. this new series embarks in a different creative direction and so inspires a new title: "Chair and Microphone, Vol. 1". This new series of albums will always feature one performer's voice and one accompanying instrument played "live" in a raw, unplugged fashion. Expect "Vol. 2" to arrive by the fall of 2004! The stark simplicity of the recording features the emotion and spontaneous performance of the solo artist without any intrusion from rhythm sections, electronica, or additional voices. This is the singer/songwriter genre in its most vulnerable form. The recordings were completed in a "one pass" approach with no overdubs. Only a handful of microphones were employed to capture the most natural sound of the performer.
