It hasn't been all that long (about 18 months), but it seems like Beanbag has matured about 5 years since their first album. Well Adjusted features this band of young 'uns from the land 'down under' in full music warfare. Although the elements of anger and musical harshness that were ever-present on the first album are still there, the songs seems to breathe a bit more and the emotions are easier to connect with. The melodies are further developed, and more attention has been paid to dynamics. While not losing any of their edge, Beanbag has managed to make their sophomore effort a bit more accessible and listener friendly. I'm impressed.
