A new artist with an incredible gift for songwriting and communication, Sara Groves has created an album that is like a breath of fresh air on a smoggy day (those of you from Southern California know what I mean). Her songs are well-penned, with beautiful melodies and honest lyrics that are not only original, but truly thought-provoking. And they way she sings them makes the listener feel like she is either speaking right to you, or like you are witnessing a special moment between her and the Lord. Her vocals are warm and strong, falling somewhere between Carolyn Arends and Sarah MacLachlan. This is one of those CD's that will really speak to you, and I highly recommend it.
