Jennifer Knapp never ceases to amaze. Her ability to crafts songs that have radio friendly accessibility while at the same time evoking raw thoughts and emotions has made her the queen of Christian folk rock (whether she knows it or not). Her latest album, The Way I Am is another storybook and musical diary of sorts. The songs are a bit less formulaic, and the album may not see as much radio success as her previous two recordings have, but the album itself is very strong, and the songs, always the songs, are the most important.
