Tree63 was originally promoted as a praise & worship band from South Africa, and both of those roots are still audible, but this time they branch out and discuss life situations with more painful honesty, more desperation for God. Every song seems to draw upon this theme that God is immeasurably good, and we are endlessly in need of His saving grace. These songs come from a more vulnerable place, with a dire need for God's sustaining strength. And yet, they still give praise and thanks to God.
But these songs also rock. The production, by lead vocalist John Ellis and Nik Fairclough, is nothing short of fantastic. Put this one in and crank it all the way up. Your friends will be impressed with your rockin' song selection, and provoked into serious thought by the words coming from your speakers.
