What does it sound like? It sounds like the best production money can buy was put to excellent use. At times it rocks along with surprising oomph, and other times it swims around inside your head like a crazy daydream. What's it about? Every song tells a different story, but primarily, Divine Discontent seems to be about painful relationships. Was it worth the wait? Most definitely yes.
Divine Discontent is a magical, swirling dream that sweeps you up helplessly under its spell. Matt Slocum's writing pen is just as sharp with the ultra-poetic lyrics as it is with his melodic sense of whimsy and melancholy. And Leigh Nash has never sounded more weird and wonderful. If one were to look up the term "art" in Webster's Dictionary, the definition should say, "see Divine Discontent."
