Plucked from his position as Music and Youth Director at a church in Weatherford, Texas, Allen Asbury is no stranger to the world of music. What stands out most upon first hearing the ten songs on his debut project, Somebody's Praying Me Through, is his remarkable voice.
Easily standing alongside the vocal big leagues of folks like Michael English or Bryan Duncan, Asbury also commands a style all his own, with a deep, rich, soothing voice. Whether delicately wafting over the gentle sounds of "I Need Thee Every Hour" or "I Hear Music," or going flat-out powerful on "The Light of That City" or "In Christ Alone," he never ceases to impress.
