From the highly-publicized Nicole C. Mullen ballad, "I See You In His Eyes," to Shane Minor's heart-breaking "Don't Ask Why," to the all-star "The Lord's Prayer," Let's Roll does a good, comprehensive job of addressing the rollercoaster of emotions felt on that fateful day, but without being a total downer.
Let's Roll hits the high points of nearly every genre of music, including rock, pop, country, hip-hop, worship, choral, and even instrumental. Everything here was obviously crafted with great care and deliberation, showing reverence to the subject matter, but still offering plenty of fun, enjoyable, artistic songs. All of the diversity threatens to make things uneven, but McAnany manages to hold it together with practiced ease, making Let's Roll a fitting, memorable tribute to the heroes of 9/11.
