All Right Here is very much a slice-of-life look inside her heart, where we see all of the pieces of her life -- mother, wife, artist, friend -- and how they're all woven together to create the unpretentious, down-to-earth person that she is.
The beauty of Groves' music is always found in the sincere way she unites insightful lyrics with earthy, easy-going sounds. The marriage is always effective, and is highlighted by her lovely vocals, which have never sounded better. Perhaps All Right Here's strongest aspect is how Groves effortlessly switches from one real-life topic to the next, and yet inexplicably, the listener is never jarred by the transition. All of it flows so perfectly right out of her own gentle spirit, that even when she's putting the spotlight on modern-day blights like the plague of busyness or volatile relationships, there's no tangible sting.
All Right Here very vulnerably lays all of Groves' cards on the table, and it's a musical feast for the soul. - Robin Parrish
