Thanks to CMCentral.com reader Mark Lyon, who sends in this report about an on-stage injury to Natalie Grant:
Last night I was at Newsong's Winter Jam in Waterloo, Iowa. Halfway through Natalie Grant's first song, she took a terrible fall from the stage. The band dropped their instruments and went down to help her. It appeared that her worst injury was to her right ankle. She had to be carried back up onto the stage after several minutes and her boot was removed. What a trooper. She finished her set seated on a stool and propping up her injured leg. She was carried from the stage at the end of her set and did not go to the meet and greet table afterward.
She really showed what a great performer she was by not letting her fans down when I think she should have been off stage with ice on her ankle. She said she would never forget Waterloo, Iowa.
Our prayers go out to Ms. Grant for a fast recovery!
