Singer Jason Perry has parted ways with pop group
Plus One. He is currently booking dates for solo
performances and speaking engagements this spring. Perry is also writing
and rehearsing material for his debut solo album. No word yet on which, if any,
label he has signed with, or a release date for the solo
album.
"Plus One was a great experience," stated Perry. "I am so
thankful for all the opportunities we have had and all the great people we've
met and worked with. I do feel like this is just the beginning for me. Plus One
has put me in a position to fulfill my destiny in a greater way and I am so
thankful for that."
Jason Perry appears on Plus One's three Atlantic
albums: the RIAA gold-certified The Promise, the group's
sophomore release, Obvious, and last year's holiday collection,
Christmas. In addition, Perry is an award-winning author, whose
first book, You Are Not Your Own, was a bestseller on the Christian bookstore
charts. His second book is expected this fall.
