Billboard adds Christian/Gospel Album of the Year category to awards

Billboard Magazine with hold its 14th Annual Latin Music Conference & Awards Show from May 5-8, 2003 at the historical and elegant Eden Roc Resort on Miami Beach. This year, Latin Music’s longest-running awards show will take place in its new home, The Miami Arena.

Thanks to the encouragement and faith in Christian Music expressed by Billboard’s Latin Bureau Chief, Leila Cobo, for the first time ever, Billboard has created a Latin Christian Panel/Artist Showcase and added an awards category for "Latin Christian/Gospel Album of the Year." The panel & showcase will take place on Thursday, May 8, 12:00-1:30PM, in the Mona Lisa Ballroom.
