Steve Taylor, founder of record label Squint Entertainment,
recently gave a surprise performance at Cornerstone 2003. Also while at
Cornerstone, Taylor held a press conference in which he, for the first time
ever, told his side of the story regarding what happened when Warner Bros.
bought-out Word Records (Squint's distributor), and he subsequently left the
label, which was then changed into something different than what he originally
envisioned.
The groovy folks over at Phantom Tollbooth have been kind enough to
transcribe the entire press conference, and it's a fascinating read. Check it out it here: http://www.tollbooth.org/2003/features/staylor.html.
