Fusion Entertainment Incorporated has announced its intent to acquire The Butterfly Group family of labels and Butterfly International Distribution. The deal is set to close in December of 2003. Current managing partners of Butterfly Group will remain in place and join with Fusion Entertainment in an aggressive growth strategy to bring new artists and ideas to the faith based products it presents to the Christian consumer in the CBA and Mainstream arenas.
The Butterfly Group includes Christian Records, Flying Leap Records, Gospel 1 Records, and Butterfly Kids. The Butterfly Group is headquartered in Franklin, TN. Fusion Entertainment is opening offices in New York City, Davenport, Iowa, and Knoxville, Tennessee.
