Dove Award-winning Male Vocalist and New Artist of the Year artist Jeremy Camp will headline the "Restored Tour" this fall, visiting 55+ cities in just three months. This is his second time to headline a nationwide tour in just a year. The tour acquires its name from Camp’s upcoming studio project, Restored, slated to release November 16th on BEC Recordings.
From sales to radio, from media to touring, this singer/songwriter is making a definitive mark in this industry with his tremendous songs and ability to capture audiences of all ages. The "Restored Tour" will take Camp, as well as special guests Sanctus Real (Sparrow) and Seven Places (BEC Recordings) to over 55 cities beginning mid-August through November 23rd, taking a hiatus in October as Camp and his wife, Adrienne, will welcome the birth of their first child.
Before hitting the main stages at all major summer festivals, this spring Camp was part of the extremely successful "Adoration Tour," opening for Newsboys and Rebecca St. James. After touring with Festival Con Dios in 2003, Camp headlined his first tour, the "Stay Tour," last fall. The tour averaged over 1,000 people a night with ten sellouts in the first half of the tour with over 500 people dedicating their life to Christ over the course of the Fall 2003.
Fight The Tide, the follow up to its record-breaking debut, Say It Loud. The twice Dove-nominated band has already garnered two consecutive No. 1 hit radio singles this year for "Everything About You," from Fight The Tide, and its rendition of "Beautiful Day" from the multi-artist project In The Name Of Love: Artists United For Africa.
On their sophomore release, Hear Us Say Jesus, in stores September 21st, opening band Seven Places continue to establish themselves as a mainstay in the pop/rock genre. This quartet is extremely ministry minded, taking opportunities to explain their moniker just as seriously as the music. Aaron Sprinkle (Camp, Kutless) produced Hear Us Say Jesus, as well as their debut project, Lonely For The Last Time.
As the sophomore follow up to Camp’s debut release Stay and the current project, fan-driven Carried Me: The Worship Project, Restored is a balance of stadium filling anthems, rock ‘n’ roll revelry and praiseworthy yet edgy power ballads, while its message is sure to continue striking chords with listeners at all levels of their faith walk.
Camp’s music has not only awarded him two Dove awards (for Male Vocalist and New Artist of the Year) but has also garnered praise from such publications as Billboard and CCM, while ChristianMusicToday.com named Camp one of the Best Male Vocalists of 2003 as well as their "Reader’s Choice Music Awards" for Top Male Artists of 2003. This year he has graced the covers of Pollstar and Christian Music Planet and is featured in the current issue of New Man magazine.
His first-ever DVD, "In24," released this spring, includes his music videos, live performances of songs from Stay and Carried Me as well as behind the scenes footage of his shows, soundchecks and meet and greets. Fans also get a sneak peek listen to some songs that will appear on Restored.
