Wired is reporting that U2, who recently had a copy of their forthcoming
project, Vertigo, stolen at a photoshoot in France, has announced that they will
not sit by idly if copies of their project show up online.
Bono stated that the band will resort to releasing Vertigo on iTunes if the
music is leaked. Currently, the album is scheduled for a November release.
"If it is on the Internet this week, we will release it immediately as a
legal download on iTunes, and get hard copies into the shops by the end of the
month," Bono told the paper.
