The super-talented and highly respected gospel recording artist, CeCe Winans, racks up another gold album.   The CD, Throne Room, recently received the official RIAA certified gold seal, surpassing the 500,000 unit sold mark.   The CD was destined for success after PureSprings Gospel, Winans’ label, launched a national grass- root campaign, visiting several churches over the course of six  weeks, in conjunction with retail and mass marketing efforts by partnering labels EPIC and INO.

The campaign was so well received it evolved into a 30-City church tour.   “I am honored, excited and blessed to have been a part of a project that is life changing; for that we are grateful”, says Winans.  The CD debuted at #1 on both the Billboard Gospel & Contemporary Music Gospel Charts; and experience high ranking chart action on Billboard’s R&B and Pop Charts. Although Winans’ music has always experience great cross-over appeal, this was her best solo chart showing to date.

PureSprings/Epic/INO can look for more movement on the charts and activity in sells as they embark upon the second leg of the Throne Room Tour coming up in the fall, with the dates to be announced in the near future (check cecewinans.com)..  So, for all the fans that didn’t have an opportunity to experience CeCe live; they can either catch one of the fall tour dates, or enjoy the live experience from the comforts of their home.   For those who have attended one of the concerts, and felt once was not enough, they can look forward to the 90-minute concert DVD of  Winans  belting out some of their favorite tunes such as : “Everlasting Love”, “Anybody Want To Pray?”, “More Than What I Wanted”,  “Alabaster Box”, “Hallelujah Praise”, “ Jesus, You’re Beautiful” and many more. “The testimonies that have come from the people we meet, letters we receive, and all the phone calls have been overwhelming.
