Grant website, has written in to report on news from a recent Amygrant.com chat
with Amy.
Taylor reports that Grant has announced that she has officially departed from
A&M Records, her longtime mainstream label home, because she "didn't fit"
anymore.
Taylor also states that Grant revealed two of the new tracks on her
upcoming hymns album. "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus," the traditional hymn, as well
as a new version of "Carry You," which is a track Grant previously recorded but
was only released on the WOW 1998 album. The project will be "edgier" than
Legacy, and is scheduled for a spring 2005 release as of now.
