Following is a message from Greg Webb, CMCentral's new Editor as of January 1, 2005:
I hope everyone had a great New Year's celebration! We are very excited about this new year and truly feel that 2005 is going to be a banner year for CMCentral. The staff has been brainstorming and planning, and we have some amazing content planned for the coming year.
I'm thrilled to announce that as of today, I am returning as Editor of CMCentral!
All emails and correspondence about the site should be sent to me directly at greg@cmcentral.com. This includes anything regarding:
-Press Releases/News
-Interviews
-The Chart
-Site Features
-Becoming a contributing writer to CMCentral
-and All general inquiries regarding the content on CMCentral.com
We hope to have much more content than ever before, and are opening up this opportunity first to you, our CMCentral community. There is a plethora of talent within our community, and we hope that many of you will choose to contribute to the site. We invite your contributions in the following areas:
- Album Reviews
- Movie Reviews
- Opinion / Topic based articles
- Book Reviews
- DVD Reviews
- Concert / Tour Reviews
- Concert / Artist photos (all must be original and live shots - no press stuff)
- Pop culture commentary (this would be kind of a cool weekly column where someone could comment on the happenings of the week in pop culture (music, television, movies, etc...) and the influence, or lack thereof, that Christians are having in those areas, or that we as Christians need to be aware of.
- AskCMC
Anyone who feels a particular strength in any (or more than one) of these areas is welcome to contact me. We will most likely ask for samples of your work and, as a staff, choose those who we feel best fit in each category.
We just ask that anyone who chooses to contribute content to CMCentral do so with excellence, prompt timing, and a positive and Christ-like attitude.
