Critically-acclaimed Christian music singer/songwriter Wes King was taken to a hospital in Franklin, TN on Sunday with severe abdominal pain, according to an email from one of our readers. Yesterday, he was transferred to St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, and this morning King was diagnosed with Lymphoma, after an initial exploratory surgery.

The reader goes on to say the he received a call from Dr. George Grant from Christ Community Church in Franklin, who said the prognosis is good and they are immediately starting Wes on Chemotherapy.

Wes is currently not allowed visitors as he recovers. However, the prayers of friends and fans within the Christian music community are very much appreciated.
